Friday 5th July - Y6 Games
We are pleased to let you know that the inter-schools Year 6 games will be hosted at the Royal Latin School on Friday 5th July. We will walk with the children to and from the event and be back in time for the normal end to the day. Children will need to wear PE kit and sun cream. Please bring a hat, water bottle and packed lunch. If your child is entitled to a free school meal and you would like the school kitchen to provide this please order the packed lunch option through School Gateway.

Wednesday 17th July 2024 - Y6 Leavers Disco
The Year 6 disco will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday 17th July. The ticket price of £5 will include a DJ and food and drinks. This year, the children have decided they would like the theme of ‘beach party’ for their leavers disco with the food option of pizza. We do encourage the children to dress for the occasion (as flamboyantly as possible) but if they wish, they can come in non-themed dress.
The children should be dropped off at the front of school, and can be collected from their classroom doors at the end of the disco – please do not take your children home until they have been dismissed by their teacher.

Monday 22nd July 2024 - Y6 Fun Day
Looking ahead to last week of term, we are very excited about starting the week with our Fun Day! The children should arrive at normal time on Monday morning, in sensible PE kit and trainers. They should also bring a change of clothes with them and a sun-hat, plenty of water and sun-cream (the children must re-apply this themselves).
This day will consist of a selection of team-building activities, inflatables and water fun. The children are welcome to bring in water soakers from home but please make sure they are labelled. We are also happy for children to bring in water slides, small paddling pools etc. but again, please make sure they are labelled/in a named bag and you are happy for them to be used by the whole year group.
