Early Years Pupil Premium

In April, £50 million nationally will be allocated to Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) for our 3-4 year olds. This means schools will be able to use an extra £300 per year for our children who are eligible – looked after children, adopted children, special guardianship children, children subject to a child arrangement order and those children in families where the joint income is below £16,190 per year will be able to claim the EYPP including those families in receipt of:

 Income Support
 Income-based Jobseekers Allowance.
 Income-related Employment and Support Allowance.
Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.
Guaranteed element of State Pension Credit.
 Child Tax Credit.
 Working Tax Credit.

Registering could raise money for your child to fund valuable support like additional teaching staff. The money follows the child and it will be same in all settings.

If you think your child may be eligible for pupil premium funding please download an application form, this can be found at the bottom of this page.  The forms are also available from the school office, please do contact us if you are unable to download one.

We will share this form with the local authority if we feel your child will be eligible. The information on this form will be used by the council to confirm receipt of one of the listed welfare benefits. You only need to fill in this form once and it will last for the duration of your child’s time at our nursery school.
