We believe that in our rapidly changing technological world it is essential for all of our children to be confident in the use of Information Technology. ICT is used in our school to bring new experiences to our pupils; bringing the outside world to them; broadening their horizons and increasing their awareness of themselves as global citizens.
To enable our staff and pupils to be confident, competent, and independent users of ICT, we embrace new and emergent technology and strive to motivate and inspire pupils and raise standards across the curriculum.
All our children are taught to use computers and their ICT skills to support and extend their learning. The school places high priority on providing the most up-to-date technology and is constantly reviewing the ICT opportunities presented to the children.
BPS is very well resourced with technology equipment including PCs, laptops, Mac books, Chrome books, ipads, interactive whiteboards, sound systems, digital video cameras, visualizers, and programmable robots. This enables pupils to develop their skills and use ICT as an exciting, engaging and creative medium for expression.
